CAREGIVER PROGRAM/PR

A Caregiver needs a valid work permit to work as a live-in caregiver/caregiver for children, seniors or the disabled with an employer in Canada. You can become a permanent residence in Canada, If you  meet the eligibility requirements like:

  1. You have been working in Canada under the Live-in Caregiver Program for a specified period.

  2. You have worked the hours required within four years of arriving in Canada, and

  3. You have a valid work permit to work in a home offering live-in care for children, seniors or the disabled.

  4. Have tested language skills equivalent to Canadian Languages Benchmark (CLB) 5 or NLCL (French language).

  5. Have a minimum Canadian High School Diploma or a foreign diploma, certificate, or credential that’s equivalent.
